Out with 2018 and in with 2019

I cannot quite believe it is the last day of 2018 and I’m sure many of you share my sentiment; It’s been one hell of a year. We can shake off all the GDPR dust, give ourselves a pat on the back for navigating the endless legal and regulatory challenges our market has faced, and hopefully feel slightly less fearful about a new year that includes Brexit.

On a personal note, this year I’ve celebrated a third year of business and merged two companies into one superb property management company, Home-Share which I’m hugely proud of. As one of many small businesses that are navigating the minefield of staying profitable, achieving success and maintaining growth, I’d just like to acknowledge all of the Kent small businesses, my associates, advisors and partners who have worked so hard this year to achieve their dreams and help others achieve theirs too. I don’t believe in competition, I believe in standing out from the crowd. And I couldn’t do that without an incredible team of employees and supporters.

Medway Property News has always been my way of sharing what I know, hopefully to the benefit of others. It’s also a great sounding board and gives me the opportunity to garner views and opinions I might not usually encounter but greatly appreciate. Coming up in the new year I’ve got posts planned on the lettings fee ban, rental yields across the different areas of Medway and how you can capitalise on your property investment, plus all the latest local and national news that affects the property market.

If you’re a first time reader of the blog, don’t forget to subscribe to get all the latest Medway Property News direct to your inbox.

I’ll be spending my new year with my family and girlfriend and raising a toast to a happy and prosperous 2019. I’d like to wish you all the same. Happy new year.

Hasan
